COLT MURPHREE

-President
Colt is from Midland, TX and graduated from Texas State University in 2005 with a business degree and began his career in the Barnett Shale as a landman. He struck out on his own in 2009 after having moved back to Midland and participated in the development and commercialization of the Delaware Basin as it transitioned from a vertical gas play to a horizontal oil play. Primarily focused on leasing at the time, the business evolved to include mineral acquisition. He also helped build-out salt water disposal infrastructure in the Delaware Basin and is co-founder of FracSpyder, a service business that makes well completion safer. 

MASON WOODLEY

-VP, Finance
Mason is from Dallas, TX and graduated from Texas Christian University, obtaining a BBA in Finance in 2011. Prior to joining CJM, Mason was the Finance Manager for private equity backed, Primexx Energy Partners, Ltd. and Rock Ridge Royalty Company, LLC, where he was responsible for underwriting and evaluating mineral and leasehold acquisition opportunities as well as handling reporting to The Blackstone Group and managing banking relationships. Before joining Primexx / Rock Ridge, he was a Finance Associate with RSP Permian until its sale to Concho Resources. Mason began his oil and gas career at Texas Capital Bank in the Energy division.
